New Delhi: A significant blaze erupted at a factory located in Alipur, Delhi, during the morning hours of Monday, as confirmed by authorities.

The Delhi Fire Service department promptly dispatched a total of 34 fire engines to the scene to extinguish the flames.

The Fire Services Department conveyed, “A fire incident has been reported at a factory in Alipur, with 34 fire tenders deployed to address the situation.”

Officials are actively engaged in containing the fire, with no reported casualties or injuries at present.

Additional information is pending.

Earlier, on Sunday afternoon, another fire incident occurred at a factory within the Bhorgarh industrial area of Narela, Delhi.

SK Dua, deputy chief fire officer of the Delhi Fire Services Department, informed ANI, “We were alerted to the fire around noon and immediately dispatched fire tenders to the location. A comprehensive investigation will be conducted post-fire containment.”

Pawan Kumar, president of the Narela DSIIDC Industrial Area Welfare Association, stated that the factory was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

“The fire broke out around noon at a footwear factory. Since the factory typically remains closed on Sundays, no workers were present during the incident. Only a security guard was on duty, and he is safe. We suspect the fire may have originated from a short circuit,” he explained.
