Delhi: Vice-President says Eid-ul-Adha echoes spirit of sacrifice

New Delhi: Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday July 10 extended best wishes on Eid-ul-Adha. He said that the festival is a reflection of share and care as well as compassion.

Vice President Secretariat quoting Naidu tweeted, “Celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety, Eid-ul-Adha epitomizes the spirit of sacrifice and devotion to God.” ”It is an occasion to ‘share & care’ and show compassion towards the needy and poor. I hope the festival will strengthen the spirit of unity and brotherhood in society by bringing people closer to one another,” Naidu added.

He wished people’s lives be filled with peace and harmony, thus in turn bringing prosperity to the country.
