New Delhi: Two-time Lok Sabha member from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former union minister ID Swami breathed his last on Sunday, December 15.
Swami, who passed away at the age of 90, was suffering from heart disease, for which he was receiving treatment at a hospital in Faridabad.
It can be recalled that Swami was the union minister of state for home affairs in former prime minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Cabinet in the year 1999.
