Bihar: Prime Minister Modi, addressing an election rally in Bhagalpur said, “People of Bihar have decided to vote for development. No matter how many parties and leaders get united, nobody can stop this yearning for change.”
Ram Vilas Paswan, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Sushil Modi, Shahnawaz Hussain were present on the dais.
PM targeted the opposition for criticism over the Bihar package that he announced for the state in his earlier rally. “After the announcement, the opposition kept criticizing the package but it was not accepted by people. Later they had to come with a vision package to counter us”, he said.
These people in the state government are not ready to give details of the work they have done. They seek answers from me. Should you not ask me during Lok Sabha polls? Right now they should answer, Modi said, targeting the Nitish Kumar government.
Modi accused Bihar CM Nitish Kumar of “cheating” people of the state by announcing a package of Rs 2.70 lakh crore.

Bihar’s annual development budget is Rs 55,000 crore, which comes to Rs 2.75 lakh crore in 5 years.
