New Delhi: With the Congress party rolling up its sleeves to put up a grand ‘power show’ on Saturday, December 19 as Sonia and Rahul Gandhi appear before the Patiala Court in connection to the National Herald Case, senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) in New Delhi on December 19.
Taking to Twitter, Swamy wrote, “Today I am going to ask the PM to declare New Delhi district as disturbed and impose AFSPA for an orderly court proceeding in Patiala House.”
Congress president and vice-president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be appearing for the case at the Patiala House Courts on Saturday.
According to reports, Youth Congress workers have already been directed to appear in large numbers to support the two top leaders of the party.
