Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram has been removed from the list of COVID-19 hotspots in the country, after no more positive cases were reported from this region recently.
Apart from the capital city of the state, the other districts that have been dropped from the list of COVID-19, after they reported zero cases, are Alappuzha, Thrissur and Wayanad.
According to the Kerala health department, there are a total of 481 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state, out of which 123 are under treatment in various hospitals across the state.
There are a total of 20,301 persons under surveillance in various districts of Kerala and 19,812 are under home quarantine.
