Greater Noida: Bisada village of Dadri, which hit the headlines about two months ago with the killing of a Muslim man named Mohd Akhlaq allegedly because he had consumed beef, is now all set to head for a purification process on Monday, December 7.
According to a report published in News18, Akhlaq’s village Bisada will be purified on Monday using ‘Gaumutra’ (cow urine) and Gangajal.
Local temple priest Sadhvi Harsiddhi Giri is quoted in the media saying that the incident of Akhlaq’s death had turned the atmosphere and the environment impure, thus calling for a purification process.

“Also, the temple, from where the announcement to target Akhlaq was made, will also be purified,” Sadhvi Har Sidhi Giri said and added that in order to conduct the purification in the correct manner, a priest from Varanasi will gangajal from local ghats and conduct the ceremony.

Meanwhile, it may be recalled that Akhlaq’s family met  the UP Chief Minister and urged to stop further probe into Akhlaq’s killing that took place on September 28.
