New Delhi: Delhi Police has nabbed two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists and foiled a major attack on the national capital on Monday night from Sarai Kale Khan area.
Officials are questioning the two suspected terrorists.
According to Delhi Police officials, a trap was laid near Millennium Park in Sarai Kale Khan around 10.15 pm on Monday night.
The two suspects are Abdul Latif Mir, 22, son of Sanaullah Mir, resident of Pala Mohalla in Baramulla and Mohd. Ashraf Khatana, 20, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Hat Mulla village in Kupwara.
“2 suspected militants who are residents of J&K have been apprehended along with 2 semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges,” said police officials adding that the two had previously attempted to go to Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which was foiled by the Indian Army.
