Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the ‘Gau Seva Aayog’ to provide the persons transporting cows with certificates and take responsibility for his security. The UP CM has come up with the decision as a measure to stop mob lynching and cow vigilantism which is prevailing in UP of late.
Stating in a meeting of the Gau Sewa Aayog that the aayog should check illegal smuggling of cows and make regular inspections of cow shelters, Adityanath said that those carrying proper certificates while transporting cows would be given police protection.
Adityanath also emphasised on improving the breeds of cattle stating that it would prove beneficial in the years to come.
