K Kavitha Criticizes Congress Government Over Rising Food Poisoning Cases
BRS MLC K Kavitha has raised alarming concerns about the increasing instances of food poisoning in government schools and hostels across Telangana, accusing the Congress-led government of administrative negligence. She highlighted that, in just one day, 50 cases were reported across three districts, questioning how many more children must suffer before the government takes action.
Kavitha took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her frustration, claiming that while Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy focused on political theatrics and photo opportunities, the state’s future—its students—were enduring the consequences of government negligence. She urged the state government to urgently address the situation, emphasizing that every child deserves access to safe and nutritious food.
She criticized the current administration for failing to ensure the welfare of its children, stating, “Under Congress rule, Telangana has become a broken model of governance where the government has simply chosen not to care.”
