
Kangana Ranaut Visits Marigudi Temple, Calls India a Land of Spiritual Heritage
Udupi: Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut recently paid a visit to the newly constructed Marigudi temple in Kaup, Udupi district. She later participated in the Pratishtha Brahmakalashotsava religious gathering held at the temple premises.
Addressing the audience, Kangana emphasized India’s deep-rooted spiritual legacy, calling it a “land of gods.” She highlighted the role of temples and religious sites in safeguarding ancient traditions, including art, Vedic scriptures, and Upanishadic teachings.
Draped in a traditional saree and adorned with flowers, Kangana’s graceful presence on the religious stage resonated with the essence of Indian culture. She explored the temple’s architectural beauty and was particularly captivated by the golden throne and pedestal of Goddess Mariamma.
As a mark of respect, Development Committee Chairman Vasudeva Shetty presented her with the temple’s prasadam. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Honorary President Ravi Sundar Shetty and Managing Committee President Nadikere Ratnakar Shetty.
The grand Brahmakalashabhisheka ceremony for Goddess Uchangi, seated on the golden pedestal at Marigudi, is set to take place today, drawing devotees from far and wide.
