Christmas Carol Competition: The Josephite Choir becomes winner

Mangaluru: The Josephite Choir of St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru has become the winners of NewsKarnataka.com’s Christmas Carol Competition. The team has been given cash prize of INR 12,000.

Blue Angels, Mangaluru is the first runner-up, while Holies The Jollies is the second runner-up. A cash prize of INR 8,000 and INR 5,000 has been given to the runner-up teams.

Gloria, Dharmashala, Team Immaculate, Bengaluru, The Chosen Ones, Aruppe Nivas, St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru, Jazzgoa.bandcapm, Goa, Nicole Cherian Furtado, Bengaluru, and Jyothi Nivas College Autonomous, Bengaluru received a consolation prize of INR 1,000.

Loyola Degree College, Bengaluru, received a special consolation reward of INR 1,000.

The musicians Rohan Correa from Abu Dhabi, Wilfred Fernandes from Dubai and Roysten Pinto, a singer and composer from Mangaluru were present for the event.

The event host was Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida, and the co-host Rajesh Sequeira.
