Expert Dafza’ lift ‘Gulf Tuluvas Trophy 2021’ in Dubai

Dubai: The much awaited Cricket League Trophy of ‘Gulf Tuluvas Trophy 2021’ was held in Dubai on 1^st October 2021 organized by, Kudla Challengers Dubai and Kudla Bay Restaurant on the Grounds of Skyline University College, Sharjah with much fervor and ‘Expert Dafza’ proudly lifted the Trophy and owned it as a challenge.

‘Blue Force’ won the Runners cup with great fight and Sharath Shetty from Blue Force won the Man of the Series. Best Batsman was won by Rovel Preeth of Expert Dafza while the Best Bowler was won by Sukesh of Kateel Friends.

The cricket league started a bit late at around 10 am as the ground was engaged by some other local matches and very many spectators flocked to view the League Match. Many Guests including Vani Menon MD of Servhub, Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations, Arun Almeida of Radio Dajiworld, Kiran Shetty owner New Luck Restaurant were present with many other supporters.

Spectators and Players enjoyed savoring Ice Cream distributed by the well-known brand Kwality Ice Cream. Shetty’s Lunch Home had displayed a Stall for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served with mouthwatering dishes like Mangalore Buns, Idli Sambar, Kori Rotti and the like while the Tender Coconut Water (Gendali Bonda) was the really thirst quenching which was in great demand both by spectators and players.

Wonderful and cheerful commentary was provided spontaneously by Naveen Devadiga, Abdul Hadi, Ashraf & Roopesh which kept the enthusiasm on throughout the day and night. One should appreciate their efforts with their non-stop commentary in Kannada, Tulu and English.

Abdul Wasi & Faisal were the official scorers rightly doing their job in midst of the scoring sun light and heat. Along with them were Main Officials Shakeer Vitla, Munaf, K.P. Anchan and Siddique all through.

The able Organizing Team consisted of the leader Cleevan Lozil, Farooq Salva, Farvez, Sarita Miranda, Rayan, Roylin, Shiv Poojary, Swati Palan, G.K. Ganesh, Nithin, Allu KFC, Muzamil Muzza, Dannu, Flany & Sonia who have worked relentlessly for months together to make this event a successful one. Nithin contributed on capturing the beautiful photos of the event.

The day long match went till late evening and the honour of Prize distribution was done by MD of River Dale Mangalore Flany D’Souza along with S.M. Beary. The whole programme was spontaneously handled by Cleevan Lozil.
