Dubai: The Muhurath was held for Kutumba Tulu drama by Gammath Kalavider UAE, UAE’s most promising and entertainment organisation of amateur drama artists. Gammath Kalavider UAE is going to present their 11th drama presentation, Tulu drama Kutumba at Emirates Theatre Dubai on September 18.
The muhurath of the drama practice and poster release programme was held at Fortune Plaza Hotel, Al Qusais Dubai on Sunday July 24.
Chairman for Fortune Group of Hotels and Karnataka Rajyotsava Awardee Vakwady Praveen Shetty, President of AbudhabI Karnataka Sangha and Karnataka Rajyotsava Award winner Sarvotham Shetty, Managing Director of Merit Frieght systems Joseph Mathias, Managing Director of Dubai Source LLC and Patron of Gammath Kalavider UAE Harish Bangera, Leader of Billawas Dubai Satish Poojary, President of Abudhabi Billawas Manohar Tonse, President of Billawas Dubai Prabhakar Suvarna and Drama Director Vishwanath Shetty were present.
President of Gammath Kalavider UAE Rajesh Kuttar started the programme by lightening the traditional lamp.All dignitaries present at dais handed over the script book of Kutumba Drama to Director Vishwanath Shetty. Praveen Shetty unveiled the poster of the drama.
Speaking to the gathering, Praveen Shetty expressed his happiness about Gammath Kalavider UAE for their step to enteratin people. He said, people struggled due to Covid pandemic and now we are coming back to normal life along with our community based and cultural activities. This drama will boost the spirit of brotherhood of Coastal Karnataka people and will bring smile on the faces. He wished all the best to the artistes.
Other dignitaries including Sarvotham Shetty, Harish Bangera, and Joseph Mathias extended their good wishes and support to the drama. Kutumba drama is penned by famous Tulu Movie and Drama Director Vijaykumar Kodialbail.
President Rajesh Kuttar welcomed and honoured all guests with flowers. The programme was compered by Dony Correa.
