His personality inspiring says Bhaskar Vitla’s students

Dubai: The 21st episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s Namaste Teacher was held on Saturday May 7 at 6.30 pm IST.

The guest teacher for the evening was Bhaskar Vitla. The special guests of the evening were his students, Sandesh Lobo, Service Advisor, Pride Motors (Shree Krishna Automotives Pvt. Ltd.), Hyderabad, Nagaraja, Assistant Manager, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd., Bengaluru, Damodar Pai, Operator, Autoliv India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, Vinyas P. K., Senior Grade Lecturer, Automobile Engineering Department, Vivekananda Polytechnic College, Puttur, and Khushi Kanchan, Kia Experience Consultant, A R M Motors LLP., KIA, Udupi Branch.

The event host was Kiran Nirkan.

Through teacher-student interaction, the series strives to highlight teachers and their impact on students. On youtube.com/newskarnataka, the show will be showcased.

Kiran Nirkan introduced the guests and welcomed them.

Bhaskar Vitla warmed up the session with his ‘career journey and life’ as a lecturer.

Student Damodar Pai reminiscing his memory with Bhaskar sir recollected, “Sir was more than a teacher and was like a dear friend. In the government colleges where students run out of infrastructure, Bhaskar sir initiated the smart class facility to the students, he said.

Vinyas P. K. shared, “Like Ambedkar being Bhaskar sir’s role model, Bhaskar sir is my role model.Today I am in the teaching post because of sir and I have been following his footsteps in the field,” expressed Vinyas with pride.

Khushi Kanchan expressed how Bhaskar sir was an inspiring personality due to his supporting efforts towards girl students inspite of existing partial environment.

Nagaraja expressed, “Bhaskar sir is a personality with the potential of bringing out fact even if it is hidden in the womb. In the area of KPT if there exists some one who is simple, righteous and always smiling, It is none other than Bhaskar sir,” he added.

Sandesh Lobo said, “When a teacher becomes a good friend to his student there begins a beautiful bond between two people. Bhaskar sir was one of our good friends. Do not accept anything blindly, comprehend the circumstances is what Bhaskar sir taught us,” he emphasised.

Expressing ‘the role of teachers in the evolution of a generation’ students putforth, “Teachers with their way of life set example for the coming generation. The portrait drew by the teacher on a students’ personality is how a student evolves into.”

Teacher Bhaskar Vitla stated, “Being a teacher is the most responsible job. Irrespective of any field, Teacher has to be someone who inculcates values and has to be emphathetic in understanding students.

Both teacher and students appreciated the ‘Namaste Teacher’ initiative. Kiran Nirkan expressing gratitude signed off the session.
