Mangaluru: NewsKarnataka is all set to hold its show “Nine Days Christmas Carols” from December 16. The winners of the competition will get a cash prize of INR 12,000. The runners up and second runner up will get INR 8,000 and INR 5,000, respectively. Consolation prize of INR 1,000 each for 5 teams will be given as well.
To get featured in NewsKarnataka’s “Nine Days Christmas Carols” show, candidates must send their carol singing videos by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and WhatsApp +971507123965 or +971508456858. This will be aired from December 16 to 24. All entries are free and open to all across the world.
The first 60 entries will get a chance to be featured during NewsKarnataka’s live show from Dubai, which is hosted by Spearhead Media Mentor & Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida and Rajesh Sequeira, from December 16 to 24 at 6.00 PM (GMT +4).
Six carols will be played everyday, over a period of nine days. During the 40-minute show, the hosts will speak to the leader of the group live and then the team’s carol will be played.
On December 26, three of the best carols will be announced, and the winners will receive cash prizes like last year. Additionally, all participating teams will receive a certificate from Spearhead Media Group (parent company of NewsKarnataka.com and NewsKannada.com).
Rules of the competition:
One entry per team applies to get entry into carol singing. The participants of one team can’t be participants of another team. Teams will be disqualified if we come across people who break the rules of the competition. Carol videos must be original and not published or submitted anywhere else and it must be recorded between November 1 and 30, 2021. Videos can be submitted only after registration. Candidates must note that entries will be considered on first-come-first-serve basis. Teams will get attractive cash prizes for Winner, Runners up and also consolation prizes.
Last date for entries to reach is on or before November 30.
