Mukambika temple celebrates Punarpratishta Brahmakalasha

Mumbai: “Temples are essential for the revival of Hinduism,” said Borivali MP Gopala Shetty.

Mookambika Temple, which was set up by Kaivalya Sri Premananda Swamiji 60 years ago at Adarsh Nagar of the Malad Kurar Village, has now been fully renovated at a cost of Rs. 50 Lakhs. Local MP Gopal Shetty arrived at the temple and expressed his views.

Veda Nanda Swamiji, the temple trustee who gave a detailed description of the temple, presented the MP with a shawl and honored him with Prasad.

All the rituals conducted over the course of 6 days were performed by Pradeesha Tantri, the famous pandits of Kerala under the guidance of Shri Veda Nanda Swamiji.

Devotees from all over Mumbai and other suburbs also come to the Mukambika temple for worship. Swamiji also established a magnificent shrine in his hometown of Talipadi of Kinnigoli, which is dedicated to devotees.
Temple Executive Committee Chairman, Deepak Shanbhog, Secretary Vijaya Kaskade, Treasurer Raghu Shanbhog, Members Paresh Mehta, Prashanth, Rajendra Surve, Dr. Shrikanth, Prakash, Girish Sutar, Yogesh Kotyan, Yadesh Kotyan, Ananda Pujari, Kala Jagdeesh Anchan, Kariya Pujari from governing Council were present.
