
Karnataka CM moves Naxal surrender event to Bengaluru

The planned surrender of six Naxals in Chikkamagaluru has been shifted to Bengaluru, following a request from Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah. The CM expressed a desire for the Naxals to “rejoin society” in his presence. Initially, the Naxals and their families, along with the overseeing committee, gathered in Chikkamagaluru for the event. However, in line with the CM’s directive, they were escorted to Bengaluru. The surrender ceremony involves individuals such as Mundagaaru Latha, Sundari Kuthluru, and others.
