Karwar: In a spine-chilling incident, a 15-year-old boy was dragged by a crocodile while fishing in Kali river near Dandeli in Uttara Kannada District on Sunday October 24.
The victim has been identified as Moin Mohammad Gulbarg. It is said that the incident occurred when he was waiting for the cash after casting the net. According to locals, the boy was suddenly caught unawares by a crocodile that pounced on him.
Police and Fire and Emergency Service personnel have now taken up search operation.
