Mangaluru: In an accident that occurred at Bedrody, Uppinangady here on Mangaluru-Bengaluru Highway in Dakshina Kannada District here two mechanics were killed on the spot when a pick- up van collided with the lorry that was being repaired by the said mechanics.
While two died on the spot, one person sustained severe injuries and is critical. The critically injured person has been identified as Mohammed Faisal.
Amidst the rain, three mechanics were repairing a lorry in the middle of the road and that’s when a speeding pickup van rushed from behind and turned disastrous for the trio.
