Bagalakote: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Election Committee meeting has been convened on February 2 to discuss the candidates for all the 224 constitzuencies in the State for the Assembly elections.
KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar said that the final list of candidates will be sent to the All India Congress Committee after discussions at the meeting, said Shivakumar.
Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the Prajadhvani Yatra, he said, “This time the candidates will be announced soon. Applications have already been received from all the constituencies in the State and observers have met the aspirants at the district level as well. “The decision on who will be our party’s candidate for which seat will be finalised on February 2,” he said.
