Bagalakote: As many as 48 people including children over 20 have been hospitalised after consuming food served during a Urus at Domanal Village of the District in a suspected case of food poisoning.
The incident occurred on Tuesday March 22. The 48 people have been admitted to District Civil Hospital here. On Wednesday March 23, Deputy Commissioner Dr. K. Rajendra visited the hospital and enquired patients’ health. All are said to be stable.
Food samples have been sent for an examination.
Many villagers who attended the festival too showed signs of sickness Their condition is said to be stable.
