Bagalkot: Udupi Pejavar Math Seer Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji has said that the ongoing ‘farmer protest’ is only face given to some other hidden agenda.“It looks more like some other agenda being pushed forth in the disguise of a farmer protest. It is not the farmer protest in reality,” the seer said, addressing a news conference on Sunday.
While adding that he is not standing by the protesters this time, the seer said that the protesters are not agreeing to meet and discuss their issues even after the PM had invited them for a dialogue.
“The protest seems to have derailed and I am not in agreement with the protesters,” he said adding that the visuals from the protest sites make him question if the protesters are truly the farmers.
