Belagavi: Terming Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai as lottery CM, Former CM Siddaramaiah has said that Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa has taken up the task of bringing Muragesh Nirani in his place.

Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that State Government is repeatedly postponing the Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat elections due to the fear of defeat.

He also alleged that BJP removed the Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa from the CM post. “It is not true that he resigned voluntarily. He was thrown out of the CM post,” he said.

He also asked Former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi to do value-based politics based on ideology.
