Belagavi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday June 26 said that the suspected foeticide in the district is a serious issue.

Speaking to mediapersons Bommai said, “It is a very serious issue. The information regarding the nursing home involved in this case has been obtained. Action against the hospital has been taken by the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner has initiated action against the hospital.”

He further said, “We will initiate legal action against whoever is involved. We will send them to jail if their involvement is proven.”
