Belagavi: BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has given a deadline to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to give all the status of 2A reservation to Lingayat Panchamasali Community within 24 hours.
He addressed the mediapersons after participating in a State Executive Meeting titled, Is it fair or unfair to the Panchamasali Community that got 2D at Gandhi Bhavan in the City on Thursday January 5. He warned that if reservation is not provided within 24 hours, the agitation will be launched from Shiggaon Constituency in Haveri District, where the Chief Minister will be contesting.
Attacking Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Yatnal said, “The Chief Minister who swore on his mother and assured that reservation will be given has been misleading people till date since he became the Chief Minister. He listened to Yediyurappa and cheated us, he said and warned that this will be the final battle to decide the political future of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
