Belagavi: The strength of the JD (S) will be known in the next assembly elections. There should be no doubt that H. D. Kumaraswamy will become the Chief Minister again, said JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim.
He was addressing party workers at Lokmanya Hall in Khanapur of the District on Tuesday November 29. He said When the JD(S) Government was in power for a short period, Kumaraswamy waived off the loans of farmers. There is a plan to start an international level school in every panchayat, he said.
“We have resolved to spend Rs. 30 Lakh Crore in five years to build irrigation and roads. Under the Pancharatna scheme, Rs. 50,000 crore scheme will be formulated to ensure that farmers get remunerative prices for their foodgrains. Look at the condition of the Government as to why the Kalasa Banduri project is not being completed even though there is a BJP Government in Goa, he said.
