Belagavi: Another job aspirant held in connection with KPTCL Junior Assistant Examination scam in the City.
The accused arrested has been identified as Shivaraj of Dargashirur Village of Aland Taluk of Kalaburagi District. By this the total number of arrests for irregularities in the recruitment exam has risen to 50.
Police said that, Shivaraj has been remanded to judicial custody. Shivaraj allegedly used electronic devices, including a microchip, for cheating during the examination held on August 7, 2022.
All these electronic devices were seized from him, added police.
