Belagavi: Two persons were killed and several others injured in a series of accidents between three cars and a two-wheeler near Rakshi Cross in Hukkeri Taluk of the District around 8.00 pm on Sunday October 9.
The deceased have been identified as Bharathi (28) and Vedanta Pujari (6) of Bailahongala Taluk. They were reportedly riding on a two-wheeler. Many others have been seriously injured and admitted to a hospital for treatment.
The drivers of the three cars also suffered serious injuries and have been hospitalised. The incident took place when two cars were coming from Ghataprabha towards Hukkeri and one was coming from Gokak towards Hukkeri.
A case has been registered at Hukkeri Police Station in this regard.
