Dharwad: The government’s order on guest lecturers has been dismissed by the Dharwad District committee of the All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO).
“The government was paying between Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 13,000 per week for 8-10 classes. The workload has been increased to 15 hours, and the monthly remuneration has been increased from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 32,000, respectively,” stated the order.
The press release stated that, “it is nothing but double workload and double remuneration. It’s again violation of equal wages for equal work.”
