Dharward: The number of students tested positive for Covid – 19 at SDM Medical College, Sattur, Dharwad has touched 186.
Initially, 66 students had been tested positive. On the night of Thursday November 25, another 116 students tested Covid positive.
These students and many parents had attended an event on November 17 at an auditorium.
DC Nitesh K. Patil has asked all the parents to undergo Covid – 19 tests.
As all the students received both the doses of Covid – 19 vaccine, majority are asymptomatic. Others have mild symptoms and therefore no hospitalisation is required.
