Dharawad: Doctors at KIMS Hospital in Hubballi, popularly known as Sanjeevini, are in another trouble. The poor who believe that KIMS will be a source of hope for the poor may be in a situation where their hope will become a lie.
At present, KIMS doctors are treating poor patients and elderly people without providing them a bed. The elderly, who had come to KIMS Hospital from far away places for treatment, were not given a bed and were treated on the floor.
Chennavva, a 67-year-old woman from Kundagol Taluk, had come to KIMS, Hubballi for treatment. Though the elderly woman was suffering, KIMS doctors did not bother and made her sit on the floor and treated her.
There was not even a stand to put a glucose bottle. As a result, Chennavva’s relatives had to stand with the bottle in their hands. There is widespread public outcry over the barbaric behaviour of KIMS doctors.
Even though the Government is providing so many facilities to KIMS Hospital, the doctors here are ignoring it.
The Health Ministerbhas been urged to take note of this and inform the doctors.
