Dharawad: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, “Commercial tax officials raided Former Minister R. Shankar’s residence in Hubballi, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said the BJP has no role to play in the incident. A BJP-inspired attack is a lie, he said and added that the case is a testimony to how open an atmosphere has been given to the investigating agencies. He said that even in Shankar’s case, the investigating agencies will take their own action.
Chief Minister Bommai lashed out at the media for asking questions on the issue of C. T. Ravi vs Vijayendra’s verbal spat.
“It’s all the creation of the media and I know that Minister Somanna is going to Delhi,” he replied with annoyance.
