Dharwad: The South Western Railway sector, which is known for providing quality services to the people, not only through a lot of philanthropic works, has now not only speeded up the work but will give more priority to time. Most of the works including double road work, electrification, interlocking of the South Western Railway Zone have been completed and the countdown has started to open for public service.
In this regard, by installing a capacity of 130 kilometers per hour, people can travel at a faster pace on several routes including Hubballi-Bengaluru, Hubballi-Mysuru, Hubballi-Belagavi, Hubballi-Delhi etc. The janshatab train was also running at Haveri station on the Hubballi-Bengaluru route and the public took to social media to express their happiness.
The double road work on the hubballi-bengaluru route has already been completed and some of the electrification work is pending. Meanwhile, the South Western Railway (SWR) has also conducted a zonal trial run and also carried out a trial run of 130 km per hour. The South Western Railway, which was already eco-friendly by saving fuel, will now function as people-friendly.
