Gadag: The Maharashtra Government has once again taken a dig with regard to border issue. Senior Congress leader H. K. Patil, who is also In-Charge of Maharashtra Congress, said, “Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai should immediately appoint a minister to oversee the border.”
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the status quo on the border issue or the Mahajan report is final. State’s stand in this regard is clear. There can be no dialogue. Let the Government take a decision when the border dispute, which is currently being discussed again, arises, he said.
“Who has allowed Governors of both the states to speak instead of the Government? he questioned. He said that the talks between the two Governor on the border issue should be made public.
