Gadag: Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences Director Basavaraj Bommanahalli said that young students should bring laurels to the institute by imbibing discipline, punctuality, honesty and getting quality education with concentration and emerging as the best nurses.
He was speaking after inaugurating Sankanur Institute of Nursing Sciences College at Sankanur Hospital and Research Centre on Sambhapur Road in the City on Wednesday. “It is the good fortune of the students here that expert doctors are teaching here. BSc Nursing, a professional course, is a four-year course wherein one has to study the day’s lesson on the same day, he advised.
He exhorted the students to stay away from addictions, maintain their health and work with humanity and a spirit of service to make their future bright.
