Gadag: In a shocking incident, a jackal was chased and killed by locals in Gajendragada Town of Gadag District on Wednesday December 14.
On the morning of Wednesday, the Jackal attacked Gajendragada Town and was chasing the locals, injuring several others. Angered by this, the public chased the jackal and killed it.
On Tuesday December 13, a jackal had come to the premises of Hulakoti Co-operative Society’s High School in Asundi Village of Gadag Taluk. The teachers and students were in a state of panic. Subsequently, the Forest Department personnel captured the jackal in a net and released it into the Binkadakatti Zoo.
