Haveri: Covid wave, people should wear mask and maintain distance

Haveri: In the wake of Corona, the booster dose vaccination process will be increased, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. He added that the ICU units will be prepared in hospitals by installing basic facilities and technology including oxygen and beds.

Speaking to mediapersons in Shiggaon on Saturday December 23, he said that people should wear masks and maintain distance.

He further said “We have instructed them to keep an eye on airports and bus stands. He said that the control measures followed earlier will be implemented.

Reacting to the Covid – 19 scare at the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, CM said that there is no possibility of any problem as the conference will be held in the open. However, guidelines for precautionary measures will be issued, he added.
