Belagavi: Forest minister Satish Jarakiholi has stated that he has the desire to become the Chief Minister of the state. “But it will be decided by the party high command and the MLAs,” he stated.
Speaking to reporters in Belagavi, minister Satish stated that his supporters want to see him as the state’s CM.
It all started with the Karnataka Satish Jarakiholi Yuvasena organisation launching an online campaign demanding the CM’s post for the minister. The organisation has been spreading messages saying “Siddaramaiah is not our CM. Satish is our CM”.
“Satish Jarakiholi is a supporter of Siddaramaiah. But his fans are crossing the limits,” said Congress leaders.
The new campaign created more confusion in the Congress party’s state unit which is already concerned about the fate of the coalition government and the threat of ‘Operation Kamala’.
