Belagavi: The Sri Rama Sene will stage a protest in 22 districts in Karnataka on April 17 (tomorrow), opposing the removal of Pravin Togadia from the post of VHP President. The president of the right wing organisation Sri Ram Sene, Pramod Mutalik on Monday, alleged that top leaders of BJP and RSS were behind the decision.
Condemning the recent sacking of Pravin Togadia from the post of the President of Vishva Hindu Parishad, Mutalik claimed that every Hindu was against this decision. He also questioned the propriety of sacking Togadia who had given 32 years of his life for uniting and creating awareness among Hindus and accused that RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were behind the decision.
Openly criticising the BJP, he said that the party was working against the Hindu activists in the State. “BJP had booked cases against Hindu activists when it was in power. Now it plays politics over the bodies of Hindus”, he alleged.
He said that the BJP had taken advantage of Togadia for its political agenda and sacked him when he was no longer needed. He also condemned the RSS for not taking any action against this development.
