Belagavi: BJP Leader and union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde is a dirty man and talking about him too amounts to dirtiness, said Minister for Municipalities and Local Bodies Ramesh Jarkiholi.
Speaking to reporters after inauguration of workshop on Swacch Bharat mission-urban star ratings for garbage free cities at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, Minister Jarkiholi said, “the BJP is a national party and I have respect for it, but I feel dirty to talk about him.”
This response came when reporters asked Jarkiholi about Hegde’s recent comment that BJP is a tiger and Congress is reeling under fear.
Talking about Cong-JDS alliance, he said that whether a coalition will be done for the Lok Sabha or not is left up to the high command, but he rejected possibilities of any alliance with the JDS for urban local bodies.
Justifying the recent budget, he said that no injustice has been meted upon North Karnataka and that he has no idea what HK Patil has said.
