Belagavi: The meeting of Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states was held at Varanasi on Tuesday December 14.
On his return to Belagavi, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that views on public welfare programmes being implemented by various states were discussed at the meet. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and encouraged discussion among the CMs of various states on how the Centrally-sponsored programmes were being implemented in their respective states.

Speaking to mediapersons, Bommai said, “We exchanged details on good practices in implementing public welfare programmes.”
