Vijayapura: During the meeting with Arun Singh, I was informed about the conspiracy hatched against me. Arun Singh was happy that the results of City Municipal Corporation elections have given a lot of enthusiasm to BJP workers in the State, said City BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City on Wednesday November 9, he said that the Party High Command knows what was the conspiracy behind the Vijayapura Municipal Corporation elections and me. State and Central leaders were happy with the results of the Corporation elections, he said.

Yatnal indirectly lashed out at Basavanabagewadi MLA Shivanand Patil, alleging that a Congress MLA did not campaign for his own party candidates but for independent candidates. Such a person wants to contest from Vijayapura City. I am not afraid of such blackmailers,” he said.

“I was not in the City when BJP State In-Charge Arun Singh, who had come to the District for a Sankalp Yatra for the party’s organisation in the District. Arun Singh was on his way to Chitradurga via City when we accidentally met each other at my hypermart. I have explained the conspiracy against me. Apart from this, not much discussion took place, he said.
