Vijayapura: Couples generally come to Family Court to seek divorce and in many cases the couple get it as the last resort. But in a rare incident, a couple who had come to seek divorce ended up getting reunited by exchanging garlands at Vijayapura Family Court on Saturday December 18. The person behind convincing the couple to withdraw their divorce plea and get reunited is K. Bhagya, the Family Court Judge.
A couple came to the Court for divorce, but Judge Bhayga made efforts to convince the couple to start life afresh by shedding their differences. She also advised the couple to live happily by forgetting the past. “Make sure that you do not create further problem for each other. Since you have children to take care of, therefore live together by cooperating with each other. Never come back to family court with any issues,” she said.
The couple too appeared happy with their decision, and thanked the judge and promised to live together.
Besides her, Member Secretary, Legal Services Authority Venkanna Hosmani was also present who too advised to the couple. Sweets were distributed among the couple, advocates and the court staff on the occasion to celebrate the event.
