Vijayapura: Three youth drowned in the river Bhima in the Vijayapura district on Saturday evening. The search operation for the bodies is onging.
According to police, the incident was reported from the Maragura village near Chadachana in Zalaki police station limits.
As per the Zalaki police, the deceased are from the Anjutagi village. “Since the last few days, water has been released into the Bhima river from the Ujjain reservoir in Maharastra. So, the flow is very high. These three youth went for a swim on Saturday night and drowned,” added police.
“The search operation has been continued on Sunday to find the bodies,” added police.
