Vijayapura: Union Minister for Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi has claimed that the ‘Acche Din’ (prosperous days) of common people have come in India, but not for the Congress.
Addressing the large gathering after inaugurating the convention of beneficiaries of the BJP Government’s welfare scheme in Vijayapura on Saturday March 18, he said that Acche Din of the Congress will not come as the party has crossed its ‘date of expiry’. “During the BJP rule, the Acche Din of common people has arrived but certainly not for the Congress,” Joshi said.
Stating that the Modi Government has launched numerous welfare schemes by keeping the common people, mainly the poor and oppressed class in mind, Joshi claimed that the benefits have reached every household in the country.
The veteran BJP leader said that tap water connection has been provided to over 11.45 Crore houses in the country during the BJP Government.
“Our Government has set the target of giving tap water connection to each house in India by 2026. We are certain that even after the 2024 elections, Modi will become PM and we will achieve the goal of giving tap water to every house in the country,” he said.
The Minister claimed that for Vijayapura alone, the Government has granted Rs. 4,000 Crore for providing tap water connection to every house of the District.
Referring to the ongoing works of the Airport in the District, Joshi said that the project work would be over by May this year.
With regard to the demand of farm loan waiver, he said that instead of loan waiver, the BJP has been crediting the amount directly into the accounts of the farmers through Kisan Samman scheme.
