Vijayapura: “I became a Minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government within three months of notice being issued two decades ago. But this time I have not received any show cause notice, it is all rumour,” said MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.
Speaking to mediapersons on Monday January 16, he said, “I have not received any notice from the Centre. On Sunday, seniors have spoken to me. So I am not a person who is afraid of rumours. I have not made any anti-party statements that a notice had to be issued to me. I have spoken about the corrupt, and those who do dynastic politics. How can such words become an anti-party activity?,” he asked.
This is a conspiracy hatched by political opponents because they are frustrated that despite all these words against them, no notice has been issued. So they are spreading rumours. During the elections, the High Command cannot take any unnecessary action against me,” he said.
