Vijayapura: Welcoming the decision of banning the Popular Front of India (PFI) by the Central Government for five years, BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has said that the Central government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken a tough decision which could not be taken by any previous governments.
Addressing media persons on the sidelines of the inauguration Exhibition cum sale of Khadi and village industries products on Wednesday September 28, he said that the government has taken the right decision of banning the PFI.
“PFI has been involved in various anti-national and anti-social activities. It has been spreading terror in various parts of the country by getting funds from foreign countries. Many people had been demanding the government ban the outfit. Now, their demand has been met by the government and has been banned. Not just PFI, but all its subsidiaries too have been banned,” he said.
He said that the ban would bring down terror activities in the country and make India peaceful as the members of the outfits would now be in jail.
On the demand of some people that why the government is not banning RSS too, Yatnal called RSS an organisation which has been creating patriots.
The RSS has been spreading the message of patriotism and creating patriots. It has not been involved in any kind of anti-social activities, therefore there is no question of banning the RSS.
