Vijayapura: With the noted Seer Siddeshwara Swamy health getting deteriorated, innumerable followers and leaders of various political parties are visiting him to inquire about his health.

On Monday January 2 Leader of the Opposition and Former Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah visited Gyanayogashrama of the Seer where his room has been converted into a temporary hospital and the doctors are monitoring his health.

Admiring the phototropic works of the noble nature of the Seer, Siddaramaiah said that “not only he, but millions of followers of the Swamy are praying for the speedy recovery of the seer. I also spoke to doctors about his health status,” he added.

“Seer’s health is stable and he has been put on oxygen. We are all praying for the speedy recovery of such a saint who has remained as a guiding force to millions of people,” said Siddaramaiah.

Other leaders such as Former Deputy Chief Minister, Lakshman Savadi, MLAs Shivanand Patil, Yeshwantraigouda Patil, MLC Prakash Hukkeri. M. P. Ramesh Jigajinagi and leaders of various parties kept visiting the Ashram to inquire about the health of the Seer.

KPCC Campaign Committee President M. B. Patil has been staying at the Ashram with the Seer for monitoring his health.

Amid this, thousands of devotees and followers are pouring in at the Ashram after knowing that the health of the Seer has deteriorated and he is ill.

Due to security and health reasons, the doctors and police are not allowing the general public to see the Swamy. Only a few select people such as top political leaders, seers and pontiffs are allowed to see and meet the seer for sometime.

Meanwhile, the Ashram authorities and the leaders are appealing to the people not to spread fake news about the death of the Seer.

“Seer is unwell but stable, therefore do not spread unconfirmed and unsubstantiated news through social media which only creates confusion and panic among the devotees of the Ashram,” said Ashram authorities.
