Vijayapura: Ahead of Sunrise on Thursday January 5, the ashes of Jnanayogi Siddeshwara Swamiji were collected from the funeral site. It has been decided to immerse the collected ashes in Krishna Triveni Sangama, Kudalasangama and the Arabian Sea in Gokarna.

In Krishna, In Triveni Sangama where Ghataprabha and Malaprabha Rivers meet, in Kudalasangama and in Arabian Sea at Gokarna the ashes will be immersed, stated Jnanayogashrama President Basavalinga through a press release. He added that the ashes collected in pots will be immersed on Sunday January 8, the fifth day.
At 5.00 am on Sunday, first visit will be to Kudalasangama from Jnana Yogaashrama to immerse the ashes of Siddheshwara Sri. From there, we will move to Gokarna, he explained.
He also added that the devotees arriving for the immersion of the ashes of the Seer should be in the ashram at the appointed time. Basavalinga Sri said in a release that such devotees should make arrangements for their vehicles and food themselves.
